Beyonce's bodyguard attacks reporters in Dubrovnik (Croatia)

Posted By dirrtyhoney on Aug 20, 2009 at 6:22AM

Snaps of Beyonce and Jay Z's yachting holiday in the Adriatic have been a big hit in the local press!
I love my country, and I'm proud to say that Beyonce and Jay-Z were here, but I really can't believe how rude our photogs were! They provoked the whole situation swearing at them and following them even though they were nicely asked to leave. That's just unappropriated. After the B's bodyguard asks the photographers to leave them alone, a camera tripod is thrown, hitting him in the back.
He responses by angrily throwing it into the sea - which is met with a round of applause.

None of them behived rightly but I think this is a disgrace for my country and Croatian reporters! I'm ashamed for them! The reporter should be prosecuted for acting like that.

Blogger Perez Hilton throws star-studded party

Posted By dirrtyhoney on Mar 29, 2009 at 1:43PM

For someone who mocks celebrities on his popular blog, Perez Hilton sure has a lot of famous friends.Christina Aguilera, the Jonas Brothers, Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian were among some 200 well-wishers who attended the gossip king’s 31st birthday party Saturday night.

“I’m not thrilled with the number 31,” Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira, said on the pink carpet in front of the Viper Room nightclub. “But I am super excited that, right now, I’m happier in my life than I ever have been before.”

Hilton bragged that the first gift he received was from “High School Musical” heartthrob Zac Efron.

“He sent me a bottle of champagne to my hotel room, which made me squeal like a little school girl,” he gushed.

The Jonas Brothers, who dashed from the Kids’ Choice Awards to sing “Happy Birthday” to Hilton, gave him an autographed guitar.

Aguilera belted her version of Marilyn Monroe’s sultry birthday serenade to President John F. Kennedy.

“Happy birthday, Mr. Per-ez-ident,” she cooed.

Most Absurd Maddona Story EVER

Posted By dirrtyhoney on Feb 6, 2009 at 1:33PM

Ok Magazine says that Madonna is jealous of her own daughter because of her youth and good looks.

"I think Madonna can't stand that Lourdes is growing into a beautiful teen. She seems envious of her youth and looks. She knows Lourdes is going to be gorgeous and will get the attention of the opposite sex. Knowing Madonna's taste for younger guys, it's a matter of course that they'll be dating men the same age. It's disturbing."

Madonna just started letting Lourdes have her eyebrows done.

"That was a battle Madonna eventually gave in to," the source says. "Lourdes recently had them shaped."

They even go so far as to say that Lourdes wasn't allowed to have her hair done for a Gucci event they both went to so that Madonna wouldn't have competition.

"Madonna refused to let Lourdes have a hairdresser. She probably didn't want her daughter to look better than her."

This MUST be fiction, right? RIGHT??????

Angelina Jolie Reacts To Oscar Nomination

Posted By dirrtyhoney on Jan 22, 2009 at 12:12PM

Celebs have released reactions to nominations for 2009 Academy Awards via AP. Here’s a quick sampling:

“Working with Clint Eastwood was a reward in itself that will last me a lifetime. To receive a nomination from the Academy on top of that is a privilege beyond any expectation. It has been an exceptional year for acting, and I am honored to be in the company of these talented actors whose performances all deserve this recognition.” — Angelina Jolie, best-actress nominee for Changeling.

“It is such a thrill to be recognized in this category with these remarkably talented women. I was with my parents and my dog when I got the news and we were all overjoyed — although I’m not sure my dog knew what was going on. This is a great day to be an actress!” — Anne Hathaway, best-actress nominee for Rachel Getting Married.

“I am so honored to be nominated for a film in which I am so proud and to be included with such a wonderful and talented group of women. It was an honor to work with [director Darren Aronofsky] and the rest of the cast and crew of The Wrestler. Congratulations to Mickey [Rourke], for an extraordinary performance.” Marisa Tomei, best supporting actress nominee for The Wrestler. Rourke received a best-actor nomination for his role in that film.

“It’s everything that you could possibly imagine it is, and not that I needed the nomination to know I was on the right path, but it certainly helps. It really does.” — Viola Davis, supporting-actress nominee for Doubt.

“I couldn’t have imagined anything like this a couple years ago. You just do your work and are happy you’re able to make some money. This is very, very special, especially because of the movie. It wasn’t that I read this character and said, `I have to do this character.’ It was more about the movie.” — Josh Brolin, supporting-actor nominee for Milk.

“I didn’t know at first what awards we’d won, and when I finally found out, I thought it was pretty great. To have as many as eight is pretty good.” — Milk director Gus Van Sant, who received a best-director nomination for the film.

“I am overjoyed by these nominations and deeply grateful that the Academy has embraced the music of this film. Slumdog Millionaire has paid magical dividends for so many people around the globe. I am deeply honored to be a part of a film that has inspired so many.” — A.R. Rahman, nominee for original score and original song.

“I’m delighted for Kate. I think she did two astonishing performances in Revolutionary Road and in The Reader. Whichever one the Academy went for, I think it’s her year. I think it’s her turn. I think that it’s wonderful for her, but I do think she’s done two astonishing performances.” — Stephen Daldry, director of The Reader. Winslet received a best-actress nomination for her role in that film.

“I’m extremely happy to have been nominated. And very fortunate. Playing Hanna Schmitz will always remain one of the biggest challenges I’ve ever been blessed with. I’m genuinely thrilled not just for myself but for the wonderful Stephen Daldry and David Hare. These nominations are a testament to their unwavering commitment to this film. And I’m also very happy for all the people in Germany whose hard work on `The Reader’ has been rewarded by these nominations. Surely Anthony Minghella and Sydney Pollack are smiling down on us today!” — Kate Winslet, best-actress nominee for The Reader.
